Scope - Filtering

You can navigate to the Chart menu, from either a company or an individual.

By default, the Chart will display the entity and its detentions, that we’ll refer to as N-1.

To explore further, use the Options Panel, which allows you to:

  • Set a reference date to view historical structures
  • Compare with another date to visualize changes over time
  • Filter by specific fields (e.g., country, legal form)
  • Show deeper levels of:
    • Detentions (N–2, N–3, etc.)
    • Holdings (N+1, N+2, etc)

The bottom of the option panel offers many visual enhancements, such as:

  • Custom coloring of entities based on different fields
  • Show company logos
  • Display up to 2 fields per entity (e.g., country of residence, legal form)
  • Change Link shapes

N.B. You can also manually remove unnecessary entities or adjust the chart layout by hand.

Save view

Custom views can be saved to preserve filters and layout:

  • Private Views: visible only to the creator
  • Public Views: shared with other users on the platform

This allows teams to work with a consistent view of organizational structures.

Once saved click on "Views" to access your private views and the public views.

Exports

The Org Chart can be exported in multiple formats for reporting or further editing:

  • SVG
  • PDF
  • PNG
  • GraphML – Useful format to allow you further editing of the orgchart with external tools such as yEd

Compact Mode

For large and complex structures, activate Compact Mode to improve readability.

This mode automatically hides N+1 levels and reduces spacing to present a cleaner, more focused view of the company’s direct participations.
