How to Filter the OrgChart

Modified on Tue, 28 Apr at 4:33 PM

The OrgChart supports dynamic filtering, meaning the chart display updates in real time based on the criteria you apply.

✨ How does filtering work?

When you apply a filter, the chart automatically adjusts to show only the entities that match your selected criteria. This makes it easier to analyse specific parts of your corporate structure without being overwhelmed by the full group view.

✅ How do I apply a filter?

  1. In the OrgChart view, click the Filters button at the top of the chart.
  2. Select one or more filter criteria:
    • Country / Geography: Show entities registered in a specific country or region.
    • Entity type: Filter by subsidiary, holding, joint venture, etc.
    • Ownership percentage: Focus on majority or minority stakes.
    • Custom fields: Any structured field configured in your Entities module.
  3. The chart refreshes immediately to show only matching entities.

✅ Can I save a filtered view?

Yes. Once you have applied your filters and adjusted the layout, you can save the view. Node and arrow positions will be preserved the next time you open that saved view.

❓ Why are some entities hidden?

When a filter is active, entities that do not match the criteria are hidden from the chart. This is expected behaviour. Remove or adjust your filters to display the full group again.
